To achieve these goals, the program implements the following functionality.

Formation of the warehouse topology and accounting of goods in all areas of the premises. The areas for placing positions can have a simple or intricate shape, include several rooms. All free space is reflected in the program. It is divided into cells with identification numbers. Cells mean any storage space, including driveways and rooms.

Planning and acceptance. To receive and distribute positions in storage locations, the system provides a special mechanism that allows:

• enter information about the product or its barcode
• print labels
• prepare the container
• involve employees for acceptance
• plan storage locations

Acceptance is a complex process that may include:

• unloading
• identification and labeling
• checking the quality of goods
• recalculation and others

The system is suitable for real and planned acceptance. In the second case, the service can notice the difference between the planned and received number of positions and issue a list of discrepancies.

Placement of goods. Thanks to the system, all positions can be optimally placed in accordance with their characteristics: oversized dimensions, temperature requirements, and others. Placement rules are set individually for pallets, boxes, piece goods. Therefore, you can customize the logic for working with all storage units.

The choice of placement is available:

• to free cells
• employed - to the same / any goods
• redundancy, etc.

The program also reflects the state of the cells: empty, filled, reserved, etc. For each of them, the dimensions are set, the maximum load that the cell can withstand. If pallets, pallets, boxes and other containers are used, then you can take into account not only them, but also the goods inside.

The availability of items can be tracked in all possible units of measure. Dimensional, volumetric and weight indicators are set for each of them. Goods are also counted by expiration dates, certificates, serial numbers.

Selection, packing and shipping. You can enter shipping order data into the system and use it later to carry out preparatory measures, such as emptying a shipping area.

The selection of commodity items can be carried out by one or several employees. One worker can also collect several orders. Selection tasks are divided into working areas of the warehouse.

The goods are packed during the selection process or after it has been completed. A package with a personal identifier is created. The shipment can be printed with a label and packing list.

Further shipment follows. For this, the goods are transported to a special area. If the client refuses the order or part of it, then the items can be unpacked and returned to the warehouse.

Inventory. Carrying out a complete inventory often slows down the work of the warehouse. Shipment of goods to customers also stops. Therefore, property checks are often carried out on the fly, without interruptions in the technological process.

The software product has the ability to conduct an inventory:

• certain cells or their groups - at the request of the operator or within a predetermined time frame
• all filled cells
• arbitrary places
• empty cells - control for the absence of positions in them

During the inventory, the cells to be checked can be blocked for operations. After completing the check, the lock is released.

Task management. For employees, you can define warehouse work areas and operations that are available to them.

When assigning tasks to warehouse personnel, the following data is recorded:

• time of receipt of the task and the employee who performs it
• quantity and volume of goods
• weight and other information

This approach allows you to analyze the activities of staff and create a flexible incentive system.

The system implements the following problem setting technologies.

Paper. Tasks are received by employees on paper, in which they put marks on completion manually. Then the carriers are transferred to operators who enter data manually.

Radio terminal. Terminals are connected to the system in real time. Information without operator participation is entered into the program by the employees responsible for the tasks.
